Whale slide (3 Years + 1 Month)

I had a whale of a time at the kid's play area in Ka'ahumanu Mall (Kahului, Maui). There were a lot of BIG soft objects to climb onto. The objects were animals which live in the ocean such as octopus, dolphin, starfish, sea-snake, and WHALE! Let's slide down the big blue whale again! Wheeeeeeee!

Rainbow (3 Years + 1 Month)

I see rainbows on Maui almost everyday. Look, I drew one. Isn't it beautiful?

iPhone (3 Years)

iPhone is cool. I became really good at using Mommy's iPhone. I play my spelling game, counting game and shape game on it and I can take quite good pictures with it as well. Look! Here is the picture that I took while taking a morning walk with Mommy in Downtown Lahaina.

Makawao State Park (3 Years)

We went hiking at the Makawao State Park today. It's a great spot for hiking and mountain biking. I couldn't believe that we were still on Maui. The island offers so many different things. Truly amazing... ;o)

Fun quizzes! - Homeschooling (3 Years)

Mommy and I play with fun educational flash cards from the Brain Quest. A cute little mouse named Molly gives us a game of questions like counting numbers, ABCs, word associations, "All Mixed Up" and "Can You Find Molly?" in colorful picture form. I love it!

Spelling job - Homeschooling (3years)

I'm learning the alphabet with my letter cards. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H... 'H' is in my name! Let me try to spell my name.... Look! I did it! I spelled my name, 'HARMONY.'

Poolside Homeschooling (3 Years)

I do my jobs at the poolside watching Daddy swim. Today I painted pictures with a lot of colors. It was so much fun!

Kite Beach (3 Years)

Kite Beach on Maui is the one of the best beaches in the world for kite boarding. Wow, it's really windy here. Daddy is going to try kite boarding. Go, Daddy go!

Happy Birthday! (3 Years Old)

Today is September 1st and I turned three! Whoooray! ;o) I got a lot of presents for my birthday. One of my favorites is the sparkly green Tinker Bell dress. I got decked out in the dress and we went out to get some gelato to celebrate my birthday in Lahaina.

Our New Home in Hawaii (2 Years + 11 Months)

We moved in our new home in Lahaina on Maui. It's a cute little beach town. It's got nice salty pools and a bubbly hot tub.

I have a swimming lesson in the pool with Mommy and Daddy everyday. I can dive into the water and dog-paddle 6 feet!

Long Vacation (2 Years + 11 months)

We arrived in Hawaii. Wow, what a beautiful island Maui is. Maui is going to be our home for the next fews months. We are staying at the Westin in Kaanapali for the first week. The resort hotel has a lot of cool things: a gorgeous private beach, pools with slides, colorful parrots and a lot of big carp in the pond! I get to feed the fish every morning. ;o)

Children's Discovery Museum (2 Years + 6 months)

Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose is one of my favorite places in the world! There are so many cool "jobs" everywhere!

Merry-go-round (2 Years + 5 months)

I love riding the merry-go-round at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. I rode my favorite white horsey with Daddy today.

Honolulu - Kahala Resort Hotel

We stopped over in Honolulu on our way to Japan to see Mommy's family. We stayed at the Kahala. It's such a fun place. It's got friendly dolphins and a cool little "turtle pool."

Good-bye, 2008!

We went to see the last sunset of the year on the coastline in Santa Cruise, CA today. Good-bye, 2008! It was such a fun year. ;o)

Christmas (2 Years + 3 months)

Merry Christmas! Grandpa Ron and Grandma Nancy came to our house in Palo Alto for Christmas. Look at all the gifts that I got under the tree! Thank you, Santa!!

My new tricycle!!! (2 Years + 2 Months)

Daddy got me a new tricycle! It's pink and has my favorite princesses on it!

Cooking (2 Years + 2 Months)

I'm helping Mommy cook scrambled eggs. I'm really good at stirring eggs. ;o)

Red Socks! (2 Years)

I got a pink Red Sock cap from Grandpa Paul! It has a big "B" on it. Yay, go Socks!

Help you! (= I want some help!) Do you want it? I've got a shirt. I want to see Citlali... I want to talk to Citlali on the phone. I played with Evan. No more monkeys jumping on the bed. Singing, swimming, kicking a ball, playing with my stuffed animals, playing with Mommy and Daddy, watching Kiki's Delivery Service, Nemo, and Toy Story, playing with my friends, reading books, drawing an "H", washing my hands, wiping a table with baby wipes, riding the tricycle, riding my pink stroller, pushing elevator buttons, etc.

Chocolate raisins, apple juice, orange juice, macaroni & cheese, tofu, broccoli, spaghetti, pizza, mimi tomato, orange, Udon noodle, rice, eggs, string cheese, yogurt, rice cake, crackers, banana, Jamba Juice, crushed ice, seaweed paper, etc.

My least favorite things...
Brushing my teeth, going to bed, sometimes getting in my car seat, sharing things with my friends, trying on new clothes that Mommy and Daddy get for me.

Tricycle (24 MONTHS)

I love riding the tricycle out in the yard at the preschool. I can go pretty fast on it! Boooooom! Zoom! Wheeeeee!!!!!

Big Bears! (23 Months)

While we were in Denver for the convention, we stayed at Papa Ron and Grandma Nancy's house in Conifer. The house is built out on a very hilly place high up in the Rocky Mountains. It's a beautiful big house. I saw a deer family and a lot of pretty horses there. I didn't see a real bear, but I became good friends with all the 'big bears' in the house!

GoBama! (23 MONTHS)

Mommy, Daddy and I went to the National Democratic Convention in Denver to support our next president, BARACK OBAMA! I cheered him on along with other 75,000 people in the Invesco Stadium. It was so much fun! Can you see what my shirt says? That's right! "KIDS FOR OBAMA!" The Denver post took a picture of me and Daddy. Yay, GoBama!

My old friends... (23 MONTHS)

I visited my old friends down in San Diego. It was so nice to see them! Sara is such a cool girl. Can you see her pretty curly hair? We both love water and we had a such a fun play date at the pool!

Bouncy!!! (22 MONTHS)

I started my new school, a Montessori preschool in Palo Alto in mid July. I love the school. I have really nice teachers, friends, toys and books! Today we had a cool event. We had a petting zoo, face painting and a pot luck party. The most exiting thing of all was the bouncy castle! Jump! Jump! Jump! ;o)
